Biological heat sterilization is one of the most commonly used methods for disinfecting fecal matter. It can kill all pathogenic microorganisms except the bacterial spores and does not lose the application value of fertilizers. The basic principle of biological heat sterilization of fecal waste is that, after collecting the collected feces, an anoxic environment is formed in the feces. The thermophilic anaerobic microorganisms in the feces grows in a hypoxic environment and generate heat, which can make feces. The medium temperature reaches 60-75°C, which can kill pathogens such as viruses, bacteria (cannot kill spores), parasite eggs, etc. in the faeces. Biological heat sterilization methods usually have two kinds of fermentation tank method and heap manure method. Now we will introduce the heap processing methods to the farmers.
The first is the choice of dump sites. In a 200-250 m away from livestock and poultry farms (ground), place a fecal site on a flat land away from residential areas, rivers, wells, etc., dig a width of 1.5-2.5 m, depth of about 20 cm, and the length of the feces How much depends on the shallow pit.
The second is to place litter at the bottom of the pit. Put a layer of 25 cm thick excrement or hay that is not contaminated with infectious diseases on the bottom of the pit, and then stack the excrement, bedding, and dirt that are to be disinfected.
The third is the thickness of the cover. When the excrement piles to a height of 1 to 1.5 m, lay 10 to 15 cm thick non-infectious dried manure or straw (straw, etc.) on the outside of the manure to be sterilized, and then cover 10 cm of soil.
The fourth is sealed for fermentation. Sealed in the summer for 2 months, sealed in winter for more than 3 months, you can clear the pit. If the stool is relatively dilute, some weeds should be added. When it is too dry, pour in diluted manure or add water to make it wet and dry properly to promote rapid heating.
Fifth, pay attention to matters during operation
(1) Fermentation ponds and heap excrements shall be selected away from schools, public places, residential areas, animal husbandry and slaughterhouses, villages, drinking water sources, and rivers.
(b) The construction of a fermentation tank requires sturdiness to prevent leakage.
(C) pay attention to the scope of application of biological thermal disinfection method.
