The presence of antitrypsin reduces the ability of the small intestine to digest and absorb proteins, and can easily cause diarrhea, while calf performance is even more pronounced. Feeding large amounts of raw soybean meal for a long period of time can also lead to pathological changes and goitre enlargement of the bovine pancreas, causing the metabolism of the cattle to be disordered. The above-mentioned undesirable substances will lose their effect after a suitable heat treatment such as heating to 110°C for 3 minutes. However, the heat treatment should be appropriate, and the overheating will denature the soybean protein and reduce its nutritional value.
Second bogey grain size is too large or too small. If the particle size is too small, it will produce a large amount of ammonia in the rumen of the cow, resulting in the loss of protein. In severe cases, it will lead to ammonia poisoning of the cow; if the particle size is too large, the digestion will be incomplete, thereby reducing the feeding value.
