As the chromium content increased, the amount of eutectic carbide increases, its shape changes from Cr 7C 3 transform into a higher hardness of Cr 23C 6 , the hardness of the matrix is ​​increased sharply; but the excessively high chromium content greatly reduces the impact toughness of the material, and the chromium content is determined for this purpose.
