Why do ducks grow slowly?

Many duck farmers report that the growth of their own ducks has been slow. In view of the slow growth of ducks, the following points are summarized:

1. Not a good breed. When ducklings are expensive, some ducklings manufacturers use duck eggs collected from other places to hatch instead of genuine ducklings or to use eggs produced by ducks for eggs as eggs.

2. Ducklings are dehydrated ducks. Some ducklings were bought from other places. Because the long-distance transportation failed to give enough water to the ducklings, or after arriving at the destination, the artificially created boiled water was too late, resulting in the dehydration of the ducklings. This kind of duckling raising often causes stunting.

3. Duckling is the second worst duck. At present, many villagers buy ducklings from duck traders. If the duck trader sells ducklings with hatched shells in advance or delays, or ducklings that do not meet the standard breeder's eggs hatching, such ducklings are given back and raised. The rates are low and it is difficult to raise them.

4. The ducklings are sick. Some ducklings themselves carry pathogens that are transmitted vertically by eggs. Such ducklings can affect growth due to illness.

5. Failed feed. The feed at any period must ensure that the nutrients are comprehensive and meet the growth and development needs of the duck. It is necessary to use feeds of different nutritional standards according to the different age and growth of ducks.

6. Improper feeding and management. Insufficient temperature or low temperature, poor humidity, air pollution, unreasonable density, improper illumination, etc. may all cause slow growth of ducklings.

7. Did not do a good job of disinfection and disease prevention. During the breeding process, we must pay attention to the disinfection of the duck shed and the environment, select 2-3 different disinfectants to alternately scrub and disinfect the troughs, drinking fountains, and to prevent the use of drugs, focusing on the prevention of salmonella, Escherichia coli, ducklings. Mycoplasma diseases; immunizations of duck plague, duck viral hepatitis, infectious conjunctivitis of ducks, and bird flu vaccine. Two days before and after the injection of vaccine, use multi-dimensional or vitamin C powder or drinking water, and stop the use of antibiotics. 1-2 days.
