Application of Anti-dropping Substance in Vegetable Production in Summer and Autumn

1. Autumn tomato. When there are 2 or 3 flowers in the panicle, use the A-4 anti-dropping solution to spray the panicle. If there are a large number of flowers on the panicle, you can re-apply the spray to the later stage. Different plants and different spikes in the same plot can be sprayed once every 3 to 5 days. To prevent autumn tomatoes from falling, the application concentration should be determined according to the temperature: when the temperature is greater than 30°C, the concentration is 10mg/kg; when it is less than 20°C, the concentration is 50mg/kg; when it is 20-30°C, the concentration is 25~ 30mg/kg.
2. Autumn beans. When the first and second spikes begin to flower, every 3-5 days, with 2-5mg/kg A-4 anti-droplet spray, can significantly improve the quality and yield. Pay attention to spraying before and after the entire flowering period in order to continue to scab, and the suspension will affect the yield.
3. Autumn cowpea. During flowering, spraying with 2 to 3 mg/kg of A-4-type anti-droplet once every 4 to 5 days can increase the yield.
4. Summer and autumn cucumbers. One to two days after flowering of each female flower, spraying the young melon with the concentration of 100-200 mg/kg of A-4-type anti-dropping agent can prevent the melon and promote fruit growth.
5. Summer and winter melons. When flowering, female flowers were sprayed with a concentration of 60-80 mg/kg of A-4-type anti-decantin, and the fruit setting rate was 80%.
6. Summer and autumn eggplant. During the flowering period of eggplant in summer and autumn, spraying with A-4-type anti-dropping agent at a concentration of 30-50mg/kg and spraying once every 5-7 days can increase the fruit setting rate and increase fruit weight.
7. Summer and autumn peppers. After a long drought in summer and autumn, a thunderstorm suddenly occurred and it was easy to cause falling flowers and falling fruit. During the flowering of summer and autumn peppers, the A-4 anti-dropping agents with a concentration of 15-30 mg/kg can be sprayed. When the temperature in early spring is low, spraying flowers with 30-40 mg/kg of rhein, or spraying with 30-50 mg/kg of 2,4-D liquid, can effectively prevent flowering. When spraying, do not spray on buds, leaves or growing points to prevent phytotoxicity.
8. Autumn cabbage. 3 to 10 days before harvest, spraying A-4 anti-decantin at a concentration of 40 to 100 mg/kg from the bottom to the top of the cabbage to spray the wet leaves but not dripping, which improves the storability of the cabbage.
After the application of anti-dropping spray, we must strengthen fertilizer and water management. Spraying should be done at low temperatures. (Author: Di Xuan Unit: Heshan District of Yiyang City, Hunan Province vegetable Bureau)
