Spray drying tower common faults and their solutions
Sticking wall phenomenon
main reason:
(1) The amount of feed is too large to evaporate sufficiently;
(2) insufficient heating of the drying chamber before the start of spraying;
(3) When the spray is started, the discharge flow rate is adjusted too large;
(4) The added feed liquid is unstable.
Remedy:
Appropriately reduce the feed amount; appropriately increase the inlet and outlet temperatures of hot air; when starting the spray, the flow rate should be small, gradually increase, and adjust until appropriate; check the pipeline for blockage, adjust the solid content of the material, and ensure the flow of the feed liquid. Sex.
2. High moisture content
The main reason: generally the exhaust air temperature is too low.
Remedy: Reduce the amount of feed appropriately to increase the exhaust air temperature.
3. Low purity
main reason:
(1) The air filtration effect is not good;
(2) The powder is mixed into the finished product;
(3) The purity of the raw materials is not high;
(4) Equipment cleaning is not complete.
Remedy:
Check whether the filter material in the air filter is evenly distributed. If the filter is used for too long, if it should be replaced immediately; check the coke powder at the hot air inlet to overcome the eddy current; filter the liquid before spraying; re-clean the equipment.
4. The powder is too fine
The main reason: the solid content is too low or the feed amount is too small.
Remedy: Increase the solid content of the feed liquid, increase the feed amount, and increase the inlet air temperature.
5. Running powder phenomenon
The main reason: the separation effect of the cyclone separator is poor.
Remedy:
(1) Check whether the cyclone is deformed due to knocking or collision;
(2) improving the airtightness of the inlet and outlet of the cyclone;
(3) Check whether the inner wall and the discharge port are blocked by the accumulated material.
6. Low nozzle speed
The main reason: the centrifugal nozzle parts have failed.
Remedy: Check the parts inside the nozzle.
7. Low evaporation
main reason:
(1) The amount of air in the entire system is reduced;
(2) The inlet temperature of hot air is low;
(3) The equipment has air leakage, and cold air enters the drying room.
Remedy:
(1) Check if the speed of the centrifuge is normal;
(2) Check if the position of the centrifuge control valve is correct;
(3) Check if the air filter and air heater pipe are blocked;
(4) Check if the grid voltage is normal;
(5) Check if the electric heater is working properly;
(6) Check if the connection of each component of the equipment is sealed.
8. Nozzle vibration
main reason:
(1) The nozzle is cleaned and maintained improperly, and the residual material is attached to the spray disc or the main shaft is bent and deformed;
(2) The centrifugal disk dynamic balance is not good.
Remedy:
(1) Check if there is any residual material in the spray tray, if it should be cleaned in time;
(2) It is found that the spindle has an abnormality and needs to be replaced;
(3) Re-adjust or replace the dynamic balance of the centrifugal disc.
